Embry-Riddle urges everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Once you receive your proof of vaccination, be sure to upload your documentation to Embry-Riddle’s secure portal to receive your All Clear badge. Instructions are below. (Please don’t post your document to social media because it includes your personal information!)

The end of the spring 2021 semester is fast approaching. At a time when many universities across the country are offering classes online only, you have nearly made it through a whole semester of face-to-face classes at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – congratulations!

Thank you for working together to keep our community as safe as possible. Please keep up the great work by wearing a mask and remaining vigilant until you can safely return to your homes and families. Stay six feet apart and steer clear of large gatherings, please.  

Please get vaccinated as soon as possible so that we can all begin to return to the activities and people we love. Once you have been fully vaccinated, be sure to upload your documentation to receive your All Clear badge.

All Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University students, faculty and staff are now eligible for Covid-19 vaccines in both Florida and Arizona. Please refer to last week’s message for more specific details.

Latest Covid-19 Test Results

Embry-Riddle’s latest results reflect the time-period April 15-22, 2021. The following numbers are cumulative, gathered since our testing began on June 22, 2020:

DAYTONA BEACH CAMPUS (since June 22, 2020)

  • 7,319 individuals tested by Embry-Riddle (screening & contact type)
  • 3,945 individuals tested by Embry-Riddle (sentinel type)
  • 376 cases confirmed positive by Embry-Riddle
  • 229 other cases confirmed positive through external testing
  • 1 previously confirmed case

Total Cases Confirmed to Date: 606

Total Cases Recovered/Cleared to Resume Activities: 584

Total Cases Active/Under Isolation: 22

Total Vaccinated – Daytona Beach Campus: 758

NOTE: The numbers above are cumulative, compiled since June 22, 2020. On the Daytona Beach Campus, 17 cases of Covid-19 were newly discovered during this past week (April 15-22, 2021).

PRESCOTT CAMPUS (since June 22, 2020)

  • 3,392 individuals tested by Embry-Riddle (screening & contact type)
  • 1,051 individuals tested by Embry-Riddle (sentinel type)
  • 53 cases confirmed positive by Embry-Riddle
  • 95 other cases confirmed positive through external testing
  • 5 previously confirmed cases

Total Cases Confirmed to Date: 153

Total Cases Recovered/Cleared to Resume Activities: 143

Total Cases Active/Under Isolation: 10

Total Vaccinated – Prescott Campus: 691

NOTE: The numbers above are cumulative, compiled since June 22, 2020. On the Prescott Campus, eight new cases of Covid-19 were newly discovered during this past week (April 15-22, 2021).

WORLDWIDE CAMPUS (since June 22, 2020)

  • 4 cases confirmed positive through external testing
  • 3 previously confirmed cases

Total Cases Confirmed to Date: 7

Total Cases Recovered/Cleared to Resume Activities: 6

Total Cases Active/Under Isolation: 1

Total Vaccinated – Worldwide Campus: 49

One new case of Covid-19 was discovered on the Worldwide Campus headquarters during this past week (April 15-22, 2021).

Only confirmed (not suspected) cases are reported. All confirmed cases are fully disclosed to the university community as well as all appropriate health authorities. Embry-Riddle’s Covid-19 test results are released every Friday. They are posted to our Latest Testing Results online site.
