Prescott Campus Vaccinations Outpace Daytona Beach, Where Covid-19 Cases Remain Higher
On Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott, Arizona campus, 691 community members had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of April 15. By comparison, 484 on our Daytona Beach, Florida campus had been vaccinated.
The number of Covid-19 cases on our Daytona Beach Campus began to decline this week, with 14 new cases discovered April 8-15, versus 30 the prior week, but continued vigilance remains a critical priority. Our Prescott Campus identified only one new case of Covid-19 over the past week.
Please get vaccinated as soon as possible so that we can begin to safely reclaim Embry-Riddle’s true culture – the one that craves discovery, adventure and innovation.
All Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University students, faculty and staff are now eligible for Covid-19 vaccines in both Florida and Arizona.
Daytona Beach – Free On-Campus Clinics
The Moderna vaccine is freely available to all members of the Daytona Beach Campus as well as their family members. Log onto ERNIE to make your on-campus appointment. Bring your photo ID and proof that you are at least 18 years old to your appointment at Health Services. Print out and complete this consent form. The Moderna vaccine requires a second dose; you will need to be on campus 28 days after your first dose. Watch for university emails about upcoming on-campus clinics.
Prescott Campus – Free Community Vaccinations
In Arizona, please refer to Yavapai County’s vaccine appointment website. Yavapai County is vaccinating those age 18 and older. Nearby Maricopa County is vaccinating 16 and 17 year olds, too. We will send an announcement as soon as we can provide additional vaccinations on the Prescott Campus.
Get your All Clear badge! Those who have been vaccinated for at least 14 days can skip daily wellness checks as well as quarantine and testing requirements, take necessary university-sponsored trips, and assist with summer youth camps by getting an All Clear badge. Please upload your documentation to Embry-Riddle, even if you were vaccinated on campus.
