Leadership still recommends only traveling when absolutely necessary.

Effective immediately, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will update its Covid-19 safety policy to allow for university-funded or sponsored travel within the United States for employees who have been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days.

Leadership still recommends only traveling when absolutely necessary. This includes employees who need to go on domestic trips as part of their job function.

As more people are taking advantage of Covid-19 vaccines, Embry-Riddle will slowly work to get back to normal operations, but only as it is safe to do so. Please note that all of Embry-Riddle’s Covid-19 safety protocols – including mandatory masks, physical distancing and daily wellness checks – remain firmly in effect.

Additional information regarding official university travel is as follows:

Employees and students who have been fully vaccinated for more than two weeks after receiving the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine can also skip daily wellness checks by getting their All Clear Badge
