Ready for Takeoff

For Josh Rebel, the real-world flight training he received at Embry-Riddle is the main reason he’s landed a real-world flying job at Envoy Air. The Aeronautical Science major credits the university with giving him a comprehensive education that ensured he is more than ready to step into his coveted new role as an airline pilot.

“We follow operations very similar to how an airline would,” he said. “It’s really giving you that experience before leaving Embry-Riddle.”

From training to handle different weather environments to working alongside skilled flight instructors and learning from expert professors, Rebel says only Embry-Riddle can provide such thorough preparation for a flying career.

“I learned more than I ever thought I would,” he said.
