For the third consecutive year, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s online bachelor’s degree programs were rated the highest among private institutions and in the top 15 in the nation, according to the 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings.

Among all schools — both private and public — Embry-Riddle Worldwide tied for the No. 11 overall ranking, an advance of one spot from 2025.  The publication assessed 348 schools for the 2026 rankings.

“As a leader in online education, we are committed to designing programs in close alignment with industry needs to equip students with in-demand skills and experiential learning opportunities,” said Embry-Riddle Worldwide Chancellor Dr. John R. Watret.

U.S. News & World Report ranked the Worldwide Campus No. 6 overall among the best online bachelor’s degree programs for veterans.

Embry-Riddle Worldwide — which offers the university’s online programs and in-person classes at more than 100 locations across the United States, South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East — currently serves more than 20,000 students. Nearly half of them are military-affiliated, and many of the Worldwide Campus’ site locations are on military installations.

“Embry-Riddle has long held the mission of providing the highest quality higher education to our active-duty service members and student veterans, and we are continually looking to expand programs and partnerships that help our veterans transition into meaningful careers in civilian life,” Watret said.
