For Prescott Campus Students - Shipping, Storage, Food and Access Information

Embry-Riddle’s Prescott Campus has clarified instructions for the move-out and clean-out of residence halls, as follows:

Building Access and Food Services

After day’s end on March 29, students approved to remain on campus will only have access to the following locations:

  • Their Residence Hall
  • Earhart’s Dining Hall
  • Housing & Residence Office
  • Wellness Center
  • Visitors Center lobby for Wellness Checks

Wellness Check Stations

Enter the Prescott Campus via Dan Carrell Drive and stop at the security checkpoint. All students, employees or visitors must stop by a wellness station for a temperature check every 24 hours while on campus. Do not come to campus if you are sick, have been on a cruise ship, traveled to any region highly affected by COVID-19, or have been in close contact with anyone who is sick within the past 14 days.

Wellness check stations on the Prescott Campus are as follows:

  • Building 41: Visitor Center (6 am – 6 pm, Monday – Sunday)
  • Security Checkpoint on Dan Carrell (6 pm – 6 am, Monday – Sunday)
  • Building 45: Earhart’s Dining (8 am – 8 pm, Monday – Friday / 8:30 am – 8 pm Saturday – Sunday).
  • Building F3 at the Flight Training Center (7:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Sunday).

Storage, Retrieval, and Shipment

Students now in residence halls were asked to move out by day’s end on Sunday, March 29. Students who are off-campus should clean out their residence hall rooms by April 19. International students and/or students experiencing profound difficulties with the move-out / clean-out instructions should email the Dean of Students (prdos@erau.edu). A move-out extension of up to three days may be granted in case of hardship.

ARRIVAL ON CAMPUS:

  • Stop by a Wellness Check station (see above).
  • Visit Housing & Residence Life to access your residence hall (8:00 am – 5:00 pm). After hours, call (928) 777-3790.

FAMILY MEMBERS:

  • Up to three family members are allowed to help students with move-out.
  • Everyone must stop by a Wellness Check station (see above).
  • Family members must stay with their student at all times.

SHIPMENT OF ESSENTIAL ITEMS

  • Complete the Prescott Campus online form here.
  • Provide your name, student ID, room number, side of the room you occupy, a list of essential Items requiring shipment, and a shipping address.

STORAGE OPTION

  • Storage is available for students who cannot retrieve belongings by April 19.
  • Complete the Prescott Campus online form here.
  • Items can be stored all summer and must be picked up August 22-25. If students need their belongings earlier, they can make a request via email to prhouse@erau.edu two weeks before retrieving their items.
  • Students not living on campus for fall 2020 – pick up your items by Aug. 6.>/li>

CARS ON CAMPUS

  • Any vehicle with a current, valid parking decal can stay on campus until August.
  • If possible, we ask students to move vehicles to Lot F.
  • Vehicles parked by residence halls can be left there.
  • Notify Campus Safety (928-777-3333).

MAIL FORWARDING

  • Fill out a forwarding address here.
  • Turn in your mailroom key to the mailroom, or along with your room key to Housing.
  • If you are living in the residence hall next fall semester, you can keep your mail box key.

HOUSING CHECK-OUT

  • Pick up a check-out envelope from Housing & Residence Life, fill it out, place your key in the envelope and leave it in the drop box at housing.

RENTED BOOKS:

Students with rented books will receive email and text notifications about the rental return date. They will be able to print a shipping label to return the book to the Embry-Riddle Bookstore.

FINANCIAL RELIEF

Embry-Riddle has pledged to provide some financial relief options for student housing and meal plans. Once we safety navigate the move-out and cleanup process, further details will be provided.
