Embry-Riddle Releases Covid-19 Test Results for Nov. 12-19

Consistent with the increase of Covid-19 cases across the country, testing revealed 21 new cases of Covid-19 on Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach, Florida Campus and four new cases on our Prescott, Arizona Campus, for the time period Nov. 12-19.

Embry-Riddle again urged everyone to continue wearing masks, staying six feet apart and practicing rigorous hand hygiene. These common-sense precautions are especially important now, as many of us look forward to Thanksgiving celebrations with family next week.

Latest Covid-19 Testing Results

Embry-Riddle’s latest results reflect the time-period Nov. 12-19. The following numbers are cumulative, gathered since our testing began on June 22:

DAYTONA BEACH CAMPUS (since June 22)

  • 4,340 individuals tested by Embry-Riddle (screening & contact type)
  • 1,976 individuals tested by Embry-Riddle (sentinel type)
  • 145 cases confirmed positive by Embry-Riddle
  • 49 other cases confirmed positive through external testing
  • 1 previously confirmed case

Total Cases Confirmed to Date: 195

Total Cases Recovered/Cleared to Resume Activities: 167

Total Cases Active/Under Care: 28

NOTE: The numbers above are cumulative, compiled since June 22. On the Daytona Beach Campus, 21 cases of Covid-19 were newly discovered this past week (Nov. 12-19).

PRESCOTT CAMPUS (since June 22)

  • 2,251 individuals tested by Embry-Riddle (screening & contact type)
  • 521 individuals tested by Embry-Riddle (sentinel type)
  • 23 cases confirmed positive by Embry-Riddle
  • 26 other cases confirmed positive through external testing
  • 5 previously confirmed cases

Total Cases Confirmed to Date: 54

Total Cases Recovered/Cleared to Resume Activities: 46

Total Cases Active/Under Care: 8

NOTE: The numbers above are cumulative, compiled since June 22. On the Prescott Campus, four new cases of Covid-19 were newly discovered over the past week (Nov. 12-19).

WORLDWIDE CAMPUS (since June 22)

  • 1 case confirmed positive through external testing
  • 3 previously confirmed cases

Total Cases Confirmed to Date: 4

Total Cases Recovered/Cleared to Resume Activities: 4

Total Cases Active/Under Care: 0

Only confirmed (not suspected) cases are reported. All confirmed cases are fully disclosed to the university community as well as all appropriate health authorities.
