Daytona Beach Campus Offers Single Student Rooms for Fall 2020

Single-occupancy rooms featuring a king-sized bed, sofa, desk, TV, private bathroom and laundry service are available to Daytona Beach Campus students for the fall 2020 semester, Embry-Riddle announced today.

Single-occupancy rooms featuring a king-sized bed, sofa, desk, TV, private bathroom and laundry service are available to Daytona Beach Campus students for the fall 2020 semester, Embry-Riddle announced today.

The single rooms are available within Embry-Riddle’s block of additional living space at the Courtyard by Marriott, a family-friendly facility adjacent to campus at 1605 Richard Petty Boulevard, across the street from the Student Village. The facility features a pool, fitness center, and much more (see below).

With classes beginning on Aug. 24, those interested in the single rooms should contact Embry-Riddle Housing & Residence Life at Daytona.Housing@ereau.edu or (386) 323-8000 now.

  • A king-sized bed, desk, sofa and TV
  • Private bathroom
  • High-speed Internet and university-equipped computer lab
  • Fitness room, coffee shop offering Starbucks® beverages and a small convenience store
  • Lobby with multiple television sets and seating/tables for studying
  • Subsidized laundry service
  • Access to hotel pool during posted hours


As previously announced
, Embry-Riddle students will move into the Marriott for fall 2020, as part of the university’s plan to accommodate as many students as possible and reduce the density in the residence halls. The Marriott has a long-standing relationship with Embry-Riddle and has often welcomed parents and students visiting the university.

Resident Advisors as well as Marriott staff working with university Housing personnel will always be on site and available to students. Campus Safety will patrol the area on a regular basis.

Pricing for single rooms at the Marriott will be similar to comparable single rooms in the residence halls.

Students at the Marriott will be expected to wear masks in common areas and practice social distancing and good hand hygiene, just as they would do on campus.
