Prescott Campus Welcomes Hundreds of Prospective Students for Historic Open House

A total of 322 prospective students and their families flocked to Embry-Riddle’s Prescott Campus for Open House on Saturday, Oct. 29, marking the largest event of its kind in campus history.

The day kicked off with a helicopter fly-in, followed by breakfast and a welcome presentation. Along with guests, more than 850 people gathered in the Activity Center then headed off for campus tours. They spent their mornings learning about academic programs and speaking with deans and faculty. Visitors also ate lunch alongside faculty members then selected from an array of presentations, lab demonstrations and other activities in which to participate.

The event was hosted by the Office of Enrollment Management and supported by many staff, faculty and student volunteers, including representatives from 50 student-life clubs, who were available later in the day for meet-and-greets. At the end of Open House, prospects were given ERAU T-shirts to commemorate the day.
