SpeakER Series Presents Author Sulome Anderson

Monday, Sept. 25, 7 p.m. – Willie Miller Instructional Center

Moderator Marc Bernier will interview journalist and author Sulome Anderson, who will discuss her award-winning book, The Hostage's Daughter, a memoir and investigation of her father Terry Anderson's seven-year captivity in Lebanon by terrorists. Q&A from the audience and a book signing will follow. Anderson regularly reports feature stories for publications including Newsweek, The Atlantic, New York, Harpers, Foreign Policy, VICE, Village Voice and Vox.com.  Anderson "writes about people existing in extreme circumstances–instead of focusing exclusively on the politics of conflict."

Videos of all Speaker Series programs can be seen on Embry–Riddle’s YouTube channel a few days after the event.
