Urgent Campus Safety Update

On the evening of February 17, a potential threat at the Mori Hosseini Student Union on Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach Campus prompted immediate action from Campus Safety and local law enforcement. After a thorough search, no credible threat was found. Campus operations have resumed, and all students and employees are safe. An investigation into this incident continues. We offer our sincere thanks to all emergency responders and the Daytona Beach Police Department for their immediate action and support.

Earlier this evening, a potential threat was reported at the Mori Hosseini Student Union on Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach Campus prompting immediate action from Campus Safety and local law enforcement. At this time, all students, faculty and staff are safe. Campus Safety and local law enforcement are currently on scene conducting an active investigation. Students are advised to shelter in place, avoid the area, or return to their dorms until further notice.
