FAQ: Daytona Beach Commencement
Do I still need to apply for graduation?
The application deadline for Spring graduates was extended to March 31 and has now passed. Please email DB Graduation to learn what your options are.
If I cannot personally attend my commencement ceremony, do I get a refund for the graduation fee paid?
No. The graduation fee is not used to pay for ceremony expenses, rather it covers staffing, diploma costs, as well as processing and mailing fees. This fee is charged to all graduates, whether they choose to attend a ceremony or not, and so it remains in place for all graduates.
Will I receive a refund for regalia and announcements ordered since the Daytona Beach May 4 ceremony is not occurring?
The vendor, Herff Jones, has posted a FAQ webpage at www.herffjones.com/collegereturns to offer options.
Please continue to check the Daytona Beach Graduation website for updates as information becomes available for the December Commencement.
Is the Daytona Beach Lift Off event on April 30 still occurring? If not, how do I pick up my regalia?
Is the Daytona Beach May 4 commencement cancelled?
The Spring 2020 commencement ceremony for Daytona Beach campus has been postponed. Commencement for those graduates will take place in December 2020.
For Daytona Beach Spring 2020 graduates who cannot attend the rescheduled Commencement date in December, but wish to attend a WW Ceremony, they must still apply to graduate with the Daytona Beach Office of the Registrar, and only contact WW if they plan to attend a ceremony other than the rescheduled graduation in Daytona Beach in December.
Updates regarding participation will be posted to the Daytona Beach Graduation website as details are finalized.
