Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Experimental Rocket Propulsion Lab (ERPL) hosted more than 90 students and faculty from 16 universities at the 2025 Liquid Rocketry Conference, held Oct. 10 and 11 on the Daytona Beach Campus.
The two-day in-person event featured technical presentations, collaborative discussions and networking opportunities that brought together the next generation of liquid propulsion engineers.

The conference drew attendees from universities that included the University of Florida, University of Alabama in Huntsville, University of South Florida, Florida Institute of Technology, Rochester Institute of Technology, Texas A&M University, and the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, among others.

Teams showcased data from hot-fire tests, design reviews and simulation campaigns, encouraging peer feedback and cross-team collaboration. It included 11 total presentations and panel sessions, covering a broad range of topics central to modern propulsion development. Each session concluded with open Q&A discussions, allowing attendees to exchange technical insights and build connections across institutions.

The event held its main sessions in the Capt. Willie Miller Instructional Center and the Mori Hosseini Student Union and concluded with a tour around Embry-Riddle's Daytona Beach Campus and the rocket lab in the Lehman Engineering and Technology Center.
