Embry-Riddle Reports Only One New Covid-19 Case University-Wide, March 4-10, 2022
Only one new Covid-19 case was detected across Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for the time frame March 4-10. The case was at the Daytona Beach, Florida, campus. There were no new cases at Embry-Riddle’s Prescott, Arizona, or Worldwide Headquarters campuses.
Although the global pandemic seems to be ending at last, Embry-Riddle will continue to report test results until the end of the spring 2022 semester, to ensure transparency.
The university continues to strongly encourage Covid-19 vaccinations and booster shots. We also continue to suggest that everyone should be aware of, and consider following the current mask guidelines set forth by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC).
The CDC last week eased its mask guidelines. Masks are currently recommended for individuals who are at high risk for severe illness as well as those who live or work in areas with higher levels of community transmission. You can check your county’s risk level on this webpage.
As always, stay home if you are sick and practice rigorous hand hygiene.
