Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University continues to document a sharp downward trend in Covid-19, with only 13 new cases during the time frame Feb. 18-24. By comparison, Embry-Riddle had reported 204 new cases of Covid-19 a month ago, for the time frame Jan. 21-27.

For Feb. 18-24, the case count included 10 at our Daytona Beach, Florida, campus and three at our Prescott, Arizona, campus. There were no new cases at our Worldwide Headquarters campus.

In addition, at our residential campuses at Daytona Beach and Prescott, three people were advised to quarantine, Feb. 18-24.

Embry-Riddle continues to strongly encourage Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters as well as influenza vaccinations. The university also encourages everyone to consider following U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines regarding mask use indoors.

Note: With the pandemic finally receding, the CDC is expected to ease its mask guidelines very soon – perhaps later today. Watch for updates.
