Embry-Riddle Campuses Awarded Top 10 Status in 2024-25 Military Friendly Schools Rankings
For the first time, all three of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s campuses were awarded Top 10 status in the 2024-25 Military Friendly Schools ranking.
The rankings, which were released March 27, 2024, via “G.I. Jobs Magazine” and the MilitaryFriendly.com website, grouped schools into five award levels, with the Top 10 award recognizing the very best schools.
“At Embry-Riddle, we are proud of our long legacy of serving those who serve,” said university President P. Barry Butler, Ph.D. “Our performance in service to military members, veterans and their families has been recognized many times over the years, but the 2024-25 Military Friendly Schools ranking represents a first in that each of our campuses were cited among the nation’s top 10 programs. We are deeply grateful to every student who has served our country, and we remain committed to providing them with an exceptional educational experience.”
In the Private University Offering a Doctorate category, Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach, Florida, campus was ranked No. 5, while Embry-Riddle’s Worldwide Campus was ranked No. 9. Embry-Riddle’s Prescott, Arizona, campus was ranked No. 8 in the Private University Not Offering a Doctorate category.
Military Friendly Schools uses a methodology that looks at several items, including academic policies and compliance; graduation and career outcomes; culture and commitment; military student support and retention; admissions and orientation; and financial aid and loan repayment.
Embry-Riddle has consistently been named tops by publications such as “U.S. News & World Report,” “Military Times” and “G.I. Jobs” in the categories of best for veterans, top military-friendly schools, top veteran-friendly schools, best regional universities (South) for military and veterans, and best online non-MBA graduate business programs for veterans.
