Embry-Riddle Athletics Marketing Director Jenni Craig has been recognized as an outstanding young professional in the March edition of the Volusia/Flagler Business Journal. The Business Journal and its parent publication The Daytona Beach-News Journal’s “40 Under 40” calls attention to young professionals in Volusia and Flagler Counties who have earned impressive accomplishments through professional endeavors to improve their industry as well as the community.

As the marketing director for Embry-Riddle Sports, Craig plays an instrumental role in promoting athletics as the university goes through the process of becoming a member of the National College Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II level.

Craig also works with local businesses to secure sponsorships, and is a lead organizer for Embry-Riddle’s annual Blue and Gold Gala.

One of the most rewarding parts of her job is working with nonprofits like Food Brings Hope and hosting events that bring local students to sporting events.

“I love that part of my job is engaging with the community,” Craig said.

She also oversees the Eagle Athletic Association, the university’s booster club, and she’s passionate about increasing attendance at the university’s sporting events.

“I feel like there is a buzz in the community,” Craig said. “People are following along and it’s been fun. Our attendance numbers have improved and I think it’s only going to get better.”

Craig is also a new mother and is in the process of opening a distillery in Holly Hill with her husband, Jeremy.
