Eagles: Please Help Promote Campus Safety
We are looking forward to a wonderful face-to-face fall 2021 semester.
To that end, please strongly consider wearing a mask that covers your nose and mouth while indoors and on the flight deck.
Wearing a mask while you are in the classroom or in an aircraft – sitting in close proximity to others – would be a great way to help keep our community safe this fall so that we can all continue to enjoy in-person learning. You never know who you might meet who has an underlying condition, and wearing a mask is a small action that can make a major impact in protecting you and those around you.
Embry-Riddle’s dedicated faculty members care deeply about your learning and welfare. Please show them how much you care for them, too. Here are just a few reasons to consider masking up indoors:
- Even if you are vaccinated, breakthrough infections can happen.
- Your mask protects both you and those around you. It’s respectful.
- We don’t want you to have to quarantine!
- The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends wearing a mask indoors, whether or not you have been vaccinated.
Read up on Embry-Riddle’s quarantine and isolation protocols, which are based on CDC guidance.
If you think you may have been exposed to Covid-19, get tested. Testing and vaccination clinics will be offered on both of our residential campuses throughout the fall semester. Please take advantage of these free services.
The university’s latest updates on Covid-19 precautions are always posted online. Thank you for demonstrating your Eagle values on campus by masking up.
