Community Meeting on Crooks Fire to be Held April 28 at Embry-Riddle

A community meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in The Hangar, 3700 Willow Creek Drive, Prescott, Arizona.

The meeting will be live-streamed via the Prescott National Forest Facebook page.

Embry-Riddle has been monitoring the wildfire situation very carefully. At present, the Crooks fire located south of Prescott is no threat to Embry-Riddle’s Prescott Campus. The fire may affect air quality, depending upon its progression and wind direction. In addition, some of our employees live in affected areas. They are on alert to evacuate their homes, if necessary.

We have been sharing information with students, faculty and staff. Embry-Riddle’s Prescott Campus has also been supporting first responders by providing space.
