College Offers Students Unique Opportunity to Participate in Bodyswaps Soft Skills Simulation
The Worldwide College of Business invites all students to participate in a unique pilot program. The program utilizes Bodyswaps, a groundbreaking simulation software that offers an innovative approach to soft skills development through immersive training scenarios.
After engaging with a given scenario, students will experience a "body swap" with an avatar. This allows students to review their performances from a third-person perspective. (For instance, critiquing your own job interview as if you are the employer!)
This pilot is an optional opportunity designed to enhance the learning experience. Please note that Meta and Bodyswaps will conduct anonymous research as part of this pilot.
Here’s how students can get involved:
- Inform yourself about the research: Read this research letter for an overview of the research component associated with this pilot.
- Engage with a scenario: Enroll in the pilot and follow the instructions to download the Bodyswaps app. Use the provided six-digit access code to unlock the content. Then, choose a scenario that resonates with you. Detailed information about each scenario is available in the Module Library. The Bodyswaps app is compatible with computers, smartphones, tablets and VR headsets. For details on using Bodyswaps with a VR headset, refer to the Remote Learner Guide.
- Provide your feedback: After participating, fill out the research survey to share your experience.
This innovative tool offers a remarkable opportunity for personal and professional development. The Worldwide College of Business encourages you to take full advantage of it.
