Canvas Security Incident

The learning management system Canvas, which is used by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and 41% of higher education institutions, has been affected by a cybersecurity incident.

While Embry-Riddle was not the target of the attack, the university has been impacted. Instructure, the company that owns Canvas, is investigating, and the university is actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
