Aerospace Engineering Professors Win Best Paper at International Conference

Two Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Aerospace Engineering faculty members were the co-authors on a publication that won an award for the Best Paper at the 2nd International Conference on Applied Intelligence and Informatics (AII2022) conference, held in Reggio Calabria, Italy.

Professor Dr. Riccardo Bevilacqua and assistant professor Hancheol Cho ­— along with Omkar Mulekar, a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Florida — authored the paper, titled "Distribution Shift Metric for Performance Evaluation of Behavioral Cloning Applied to the Fuel-Optimal Landing Problem."
