Emergency Information

Advisories on class cancellations, office closings, evacuations, resumption of normal operations, and so on will be provided to the University community through the following five methods:

The University Emergency Hotline

The University emergency hotline number, (866) 799-3728 (799-ERAU), provides real-time information on emergency closings or evacuations of either residential campus in the event of a hurricane, forest fire, or other major emergency. When no emergency exists, the hotline contains information and contact numbers for the two residential campuses and Worldwide.

E-Mail Updates

E-mail updates will be sent to everyone with a University email address.

Log into ERNIE. An announcement will be at the top of the page.

The Campus Voicemail Systems

  • Press the Message button or dial the voicemail access number, x62700.
  • Enter your password, followed by the pound key [#].

From another phone on campus

  • Dial the voicemail access number, x62700.
  • Press [*], then [#], and enter your five-digit extension.

From off campus

  • Press [#], then enter your five-digit extension.
  • Enter your password, followed by [#].

Prescott, Arizona, campus

  • Follow the voice prompts.

From off campus

  • Dial the voicemail access number, (928) 777-6699.
  • Follow the voice prompts.

All five sources of information will be updated as often as necessary.
