The world loves Instagram. But did you know one of today's hottest social networks was born from two 20-somethings who met at a San Francisco coffee bar? Ever wonder if your great idea has what it takes to be the next Instagram?
Find out during the 2nd Annual Entrepreneurship Expo. Embry-Riddle students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to submit a technology concept or business idea for the expo's April 12 poster session and judging. Applications – which include a brief abstract – are due March 25 and will be evaluated based on commercial viability, innovativeness and general interest.
During the expo, a small group of successful entrepreneurs and members of the venture investment community will be on hand to study the proposals and interact with participants to better understand their product/service. Not only will the judges select the Judges Award, they will also offer advice and guidance. The top winners will come away with cash prizes of $1,500 and $500 to help get their projects off the ground.
What do you have to lose? Apply today for this year's Entrepreneurship Expo!
