Daytona Beach, Fla. , October 6, 2006

More than 100 employers in aviation/aerospace, business, engineering, and high-tech fields will be on hand to talk with jobseekers at the 2006 Industry/Career Expo at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Sponsored by Embry-Riddle’s Career Services Office, the Expo is free and open to the public and will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25, and Thursday, Oct. 26, in the university’s ICI Center, 600 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Daytona Beach. The Expo will be held during Homecoming Week.

“I’m extremely pleased with the quantity and quality of the companies attending this year’s Expo,” says Lisa Scott-Kollar, Career Services director. “In fact, we have so many employers participating that we’ve reached capacity. This strong turnout guarantees that job candidates from all levels of experience and background will be able to interact with a full range of employers in the aviation and aerospace industries and beyond.”

Major employers at the Expo will include The Boeing Company, Bombardier Aerospace, Cessna Aircraft Company, the FBI, Lockheed Martin, NASA, The New Piper Aircraft Inc., Northrop Grumman, Rockwell Collins, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Navy, and United Space Alliance.
