Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide is one of the nation’s top online educators for veterans, according to rankings released by U.S. News & World Report this week.
In the 2014 Best Online Programs for Veterans, Embry-Riddle Worldwide was ranked No. 2 for its bachelor's degree programs. Programs included on the list were recognized in the overall 2014 U.S. News Best Online Programs rankings and belong to institutions that participate in veterans’ initiatives such as the Yellow Ribbon Program.
“We believe it’s our responsibility to help veterans obtain the education and skills needed for success following their military service,” said Embry-Riddle Worldwide Chancellor John R. Watret, Ph.D. “The advent of online learning has enhanced our ability to deliver high-quality education to veterans anywhere in the world.”
Earlier this year, U.S. News & World Report ranked Embry-Riddle Worldwide No. 5 in the online undergraduate degree programs category. That recognition was based on factors including student engagement, faculty credentials and training, peer reputation, and student services and technology.
