Embry-Riddle Worldwide was also recognized by U.S. News in January.

U.S. News & World Report has named Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University its No. 1 Best College for Veterans in the South.

Embry-Riddle is a private university with more than 5,200 students at its Daytona Beach, Fla., Campus and more than 1,850 at its Prescott, Ariz., Campus.

Schools eligible to win this distinction are those that participate in federal initiatives which help veterans and active service members apply for, pay for and complete their degrees. Rankings were split into four regions throughout the country.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has been named to the following awards lists this year: the Chronicle of Higher Education’s list of Great Colleges to Work For; University Business Magazine’s Model of Efficiency list; U.S. News & World Report’s Top Online Educators in the Nation, Best Colleges for Veterans in the South and Best Universities in the South; Orlando Sentinel’s list of Top 100 Companies for Working Families; and for the fourth consecutive year, Embry-Riddle won Exemplary Course Awards from Blackboard.
