Nine employees from the Embry-Riddle Prescott Campus and Embry-Riddle Worldwide were selected for the first inaugural Prescott Campus cohort of the Embry-Riddle Leadership Institute’s Individual Contributors Program. This three-day leadership intensive was held at the Hazy Library and Learning Center, Feb. 26-28. Chancellor Dr. Frank Ayers and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Rhonda Capron kicked off the program.

The Embry-Riddle Leadership Institute team sessions ranged from self-awareness to leadership competencies, team building, meditation, mentoring, unconscious bias, conflict management, trust, stress resiliency, core values and self-assessments.

The Prescott Campus faculty and leadership also participated, delivering several dynamic lessons including “Leadership and Giving Back,” “Three Leadership Lessons I Didn’t Learn in a Book,” “The Mentoring Experience” and lessons on conflict management. The three day program wrapped up with a lively panel discussion and Q & A with Dr. Ayers and Dr. Capron.

Participating in the leadership program were Cindy Cruikshank, Elizabeth “Liz” Darkins, Dwayne Fernandes, Marie Malzahn, Katherine McGillicuddy, Jessica Quarles, Peter Tomasovitch, Robin Vickery and Renee Watkins.
