Placement
Opportunities for work experience through co-ops and internships abound, with 387 students awarded positions during the 2011-2012 academic year. Statistical data from the most recent Alumni Survey show that 90.7% of Embry-Riddle graduates of the Daytona Beach and Prescott campuses are either employed or have continued their education within one year of graduation. Embry-Riddle’s 100,000+ alumni are employed worldwide in the aviation and aerospace industry as well as in business, law, engineering, medical, insurance, and other businesses and government organizations. Alumni and their companies offer mentoring, hiring, and networking opportunities to alumni.
Notes:
- Students are selected for internships in a variety of ways, including websites, conferences, networking, and Expos (not all through the Career Services office). If the student does not want/need credit or the company does not require that the student be registered with their university co-op/intern program, the Career Services office will not see the student to capture their experience.
